Main Objectives:

Areas of Qualification:

  • Ground and Urban Direction Finding

    • GTL

    • GTM (3,2,1)

    • UDF Team

  • Mission Base Staff

    • MSA

    • MRO

  • Mission Aircrew (18+)

FOR CADETS:

  • Ground Team Member (3, 2, 1)

  • Urban Direction Finding

  • Mission Staff Assistant

  • Mission Radio Operator 

  • Shelter Field Guide Course

How to Get Involved in ES:

  • TRIEX/SAREX

  • GSAR

  • NESA

  • Ranger School

  • Individual training (online tests and first aid/CPR class)

  • Training is mostly held at Wing and Group levels

    • ES Support Staff team is working to organize training at the squadron level

 

Preliminary Tests to complete:

  • General Emergency Services (GES)

  • Introductory Communications Unit Training (ICUT)

  • FEMA courses:

    • IS 100

    • IS 200

    • IS 700

    • IS 800

  • First Aid/CPR training

    • Talk to the ES department about upcoming CPR classes to attend

 

GTM Equipment:

  • 24 Hour Pack (GTM 3)

  • 72 Hour Pack (GTM 2)

  • First Aid and Survival/Camping Equipment

 

Specialty Qualification Training Record:

  • Forms that track what is needed for each Operations training position

  • List of tasks for qualifications on paper

  • Bring to each training attended

  • SET (Skills Examiner Trainer) has to sign off at the time of the training. 

  • Enter the information into E-Services at your convenience
